When I was an intern in South Africa, some of my colleagues were members of Charismatic Christian churches.
Once, one of the colleagues invited us to a weekend ceremony.
How did it look?
It was very friendly, and a lot of people participated. There was a part to sing. The songs were the same as in Australia, a lot of Hillsong songs. Some from Michael W. Smith.

After or during the singing, there was a part where people could give their donation in an envelope.
Then there was a speech from the priest.
And at the end, the colleague invited us to his home to introduce his family, wife, and three kids.
We had a nice lunch together.
What else did I see?
I saw a synagogue from afar. The tourist guide said it is not easy to be a Jew in South Africa.
I am not sure about it, as when I was in Wellington, New Zealand, I talked with Greek Jews who said that some of their siblings live in South Africa, and they are happy about it.
