Death 2. when I thought I can die + private hospitals in South Africa

As I mentioned before, we were a multinational team: South African, Italian, Hungarian in 2008, plus a French friend in the neighbouring winery.

That time, as explained our culture through food and wine.

So I wanted to cook some Hungarian food: gulyásleves, Goulash soup.

It was amazing! I even added some red wine as well to make it even better. I loved it so much!

How did the death come?
When?
Did I die?

After the huge amount of soup, we could not finish it. And I forgot to put the soup into the fridge on a hot day in South Africa. A soup that had meat as well.
So I ate from the soup later, and I had high fever, vomiting, and all the shaking stuff...

I ended up in a private hospital in South Africa, as at that time public hospital was not recommended.
Was it free? Nope!

I was in such a bad condition, when I called my mother in the middle of the night, I could only say: I may die tonight...
I had zero power...
But Susanne Erasmus, the Allianz insurance, and of course, the faith were with me.
I managed to survive the night in a private hospital in South Africa.
How much was it?
In 2008, I finally paid a reduced price for the hospital. Later, the insurance refunded it to me.

How much was it? 32.000HUF. How much is it now in DKK? It is around 600 DKK. But remember it was in 2008, which was 17 years ago!!!
